leads and collars
With so many people buying larger breeds of dogs it is very important they use the proper leads and collars on these powerful animals. Take a Pit Bull for example. These compact, muscular dogs might at first appear to only need the average strength leads and collars but do not let the small size of this breed fool you. they are pound for pound the strongest domesticated breed of dog there is. I know, because I use to own one. I had a female American Staffordshire Terrier, or Pit Bull, for many years. she was without a doubt the best dog I have ever owned and as I trained her from the time she was a puppy I learned that leads and collars I would normally use for a dog her size were not strong enough to with stand  her strength. For this and other similar breeds of dog I use a shoulder and chest combination harness along with the strongest lead I can find. It is important not just for being able to control the dog, but also to keep the dog from hurting themselves that the owner use the proper leads and collars.
