dog food, leads and collarsMonday and Tuesday of this week have been nothing but boxing up stuff at the old place and moving into another. I haven’t had a dog since middle of High School when our family had a black Lab/Rottweiler mix who ended up getting lose and running away. She was a pound pup at about two years old when we got her. Skittish from a rough time with previous owners, we could never get her to stay in the yard off a leash. She loved to run and when she got the chance, the only way to catch her was hot pursuit. She always dilly-dallied in the weeds sniffing around.

So back to this new apartment, one of my new roommates has a small terrier. It will be a nice little guy running around to play with. Now I’ll have to get back into dog food, poop bags, leads and collars. Being a terrier, he will never be able to escape us if he gets loose with those little legs. Thankfully he doesn’t go through much dog food and loves human treats.
