LitterMaid Cat Tent (Hood)
Our family especially my mom has been a cat person for as long as I can remember. We have had dogs over the years but without a doubt the animals, which have really created a connection with our family has been cats. I shouldn’t say the whole family. I am a dog person but we have had a couple cats who have been part of the family for over a decade. Our favorite feline goes by the semi cliché name of Garfield but he fits the part. Or at least he used to. Now he is 15 years old, skinny and doesn’t eat nearly as much. Back in his glory days that weren’t too long ago, good old G’s orange fur belly was dragging on the floor when he walked by. It was so funny to watch it sway back and forth, as he slunk around the house. I swear in his youth he would even get into the dog food when it was out.
Every holiday season Garfield gets a Santa gift. Many times, it is some fish cat treats or catnip. This year I think it is time G got some luxury in his life. He has always been good about using litter boxes and doesn’t really need a new one but when I was browsing the shelves of Top Line Pet Supply at http://www.toplinepetsupply.com/ I came across a luxurious page of litter boxes after seeing some great deals on dog food, leads and collars. Garfield deserves some opulence after such a long life of support. The LitterMaid Cat Tent (Hood) looks really nice. A real litter boxes upgrade.
Seen in the picture above, the litter boxes product description says the canvas hood is washable, can zip up, offers privacy and fits to the self cleaning LitterMaid catbox. Pairing these two items together would have Garfield living like a king. I bet the hood helps in keeping the odor down too.
It’s pretty funny, every Christmas my mom buys my brother and I little gifts she says are from Garfield. We usually get to open these gifts on Christmas Eve as a little something to keep us content until the morning. This is probably one of the toughest nights to get any shuteye. I still get just as excited as I did as a kid trying to fall asleep on Christmas Eve. We always tie bells around Garfield’s neck come the holidays. His little jingling is a great reminder of the time of the year. Nothing better then the season of giving.
